Velasmooth Is Effective in Getting Rid of Cellulite

04 Sep

Velasmooth is an anti cellulite machine that is found in beauty spas and skin clinics all around the world. It is made by an Israel company called Syneron and is listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange. Velasmooth is among a number of beauty machines that the company manufactures.

Velasmooth shouldn’t be confused with Velashape. The former is actually an advancement on Velasmooth and is a much more powerful machine. While Velasmooth cellulite treatment is effective in getting rid of cellulite, Velashape can achieve the results in a fraction of the time and can also reduce the measurements of the body.

While Velasmooth has now been overtaken by a new machine, the device is still popular among beauty clinics and is actually still more common than its successor.

The machine uses a combination of radiofrequency energy (RF), infrared light energy, and mechanical vacuum massage to remove cellulite. The radio frequency penetrates the skin to break down fat, the massage pushes out the liquefied fat and increases circulation, and the infrared light energy improves the health of the skin.

A session will take 45 minutes to 1 hour. You will need around 4 to 6 weeks worth of sessions at 2 sessions a week. With a session costing $150, this can somewhere between $1500 and $2500. Over the course of the 6 to 8 weeks you will see a gradual improvement in the texture and shape of the skin. You will need follow up sessions of about 1 per month in order to keep the gains and to stop the cellulite from returning.

Results will vary from woman to woman, depending on their response to treatment and how often they attend the clinic. There are virtually no side effects with Velasmooth. Some patients see light bruising and some reddening of the skin. However, you can walk right out of the clinic and straight back to work without any problems.

Try These Methods to Remove Cellulite

15 Aug

When a woman starts to approach menopause, the amount of estrogen in her body begins to decrease. Between 25 and 35 years of age is when cellulite begins to appear. A decrease in estrogen leads to poorer circulation and a lack of oxygen and nutrition to the cellulite layer of fat. The body also tends to put on fat during the same time in life and they start to bulge out from their pockets.

Cellulite tends to be found on the buttocks, saddlebags and around the knees. This is because there are three layers of fat in these areas. Cellulite doesn’t discriminate – thin women are just as likely to get the problem as overweight women.

The foundation of any anti cellulite program is to eat right and exercise. However, this is not often enough to target the things that causes cellulite, especially if you are a thinner woman with the condition. Try these methods in addition to diet and exercise

Coffee scrub – rubbing coffee into your cellulite afflicted areas can increase circulation, remove fat and detoxify the skin. Some women mix the coffee with a moisturizer while others wrap the coffee and skin with plastic wrap to create an at-home body wrap.

Get a tan – when the skin is darker, it is more difficult to see the lumpy appearance of cellulite. However, it is important not to get a UV-based tan as this can damage the collagen and skin, making the cellulite worse. Instead, use a fake tan.

Moisturizer – you don’t need to pay lots of money on anti cellulite lotions. Use lots of your usual moisturizer. Make sure you massage the lotion deeply into the skin and fat in order to get the best benefits from it. You could also choose to use a wooden or plastic massage to make the whole method more effective.
